Founded in 2002, One Percent for the Planet is a global organization whose members contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes. Their mission is to build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet and to date have helped direct hundreds of millions of dollars to environmental nonprofits around the world. We are proud to support SOS Children’s Village India, which provides comprehensive care and educational initiatives for 35,000 children without parental care or otherwise at risk in 32 SOS Children’s Villages in 22 states throughout India. They provide care through several important initiatives, including the Family Like Care Program which is focused on providing abandoned children a nurturing family-based environment along with educational, health and psychological services.
